Exciting News!

A lot has happened! New position in the hostel, pancakes for days, yoga and more!
I cook all the time and especially love it with my French mates - best way to learn a language! Theyve all moved out now but are still around in town which is nice.

I'm in love with the national days. For example two days ago it was World Peace Day - so a local studio held a free yoga session. It was really interesting actually, and after all the sport I play I'm incredibly unflexible which was funny. I travelled over to Rosemont- my favorite district in Montreal I think. Lots of green spaces and local grocery stores and independant coffee shops.

They followed the messages and theories of Shadhguru - an Indian Yogi / Mystic which was facinating. His insight and messages are respected on an international stage like the UN and he runs one a massive non-profit that operates all over the world. I'm a pretty chilled dude anyway so I didnt feel too much different. But it was fun.

Its also been so warm! Yesterday was the 2nd hottest day of the year and the highest ever for September in Montreal! Its mad! But my evening jogs and skateboarding is still super fun if a bit sweaty.

Lots of other things have happened to! Like the most exciting thing of all. I'm now going to start working the reception! As the most billingual staff member whos sticking round for October I'm being promoted! Super excited to start and have a lot of time to talk and study french - and to see the back of cleaning rooms! Even though I'm still proud of my work.. This also frees up some time for extra work in the mornings - consistant evenjng work means I can commit to a mornjng coffee job hopefully!

Love to my familly! Sorry for my recent abense from the blogsphere.. until next time!
