Motivation trying to get me up for an early shift!

As I told you.. Montreal has some pretty funny statues!
Past couple days have consisted of finally feeling at home in the hostel and growing into my own little niche in the working and social dynamic. Theres so many french people here I have made friends where i speak fench and they speak back to me in english! Its awesome and even now je veut utiliser french au lieu de english..! So much fun.

I really started push the boat ouy at out beer pong social night when I got a couple drinks in me and felt more relaxed and happy and.. chatty! I even acted as a translater souvent. Which was fun.

On another social night we watched Walter Mitty together. I love that film and it made my usually quiet and easy evening kitchen shift go by even quicker! One bloke even made homemade pizza and bread for us all which was random and awesome.

Ensuite the next night was a french blokea birthday! I quite enjoy his company (we always converse in french!) And he offeres me a beer and some cake and we all came together to celebrate his day. Good crowd.

Its definetly an older target audience that use this hotel. Like always 20 up I would say. So everyone is collectively responsible for public spaces and actuelly respects the cleanliness rules etc.. makes my life way easier! Thank my lucky stars.

I've also written and rewritten my cv multiple time in both languages. Then trekked across the city to hand them out. But its been a good crack. One interview down(abe and marys - chic health food/boutique. I hope I get it!), one to go (Tim Hortons - classic Canada. But fast food joint.. but then again donuts..!) Or even a crêperie! I really dont mind they all sound fun and delicious which is what I'm looking for!

I'm getting good at walking around my little area now. I have a nice scenic route on pedestrianised roads I like to take to a super market in a mini mall which then leads to St Catherine which is a little hub for my job search. It also has fun stuff to see!
Like a big fountain which a little girl was going mad for! So EXCITING

My personal favorite. Random hammocks and soft jazz. Standard.
Á bientôt! Bisoux xx
